About
I am a wildlife photographer specializing in wild birds in their natural habitat, supplying high quality images of wildlife and the environment. I began birding as a teenager in the 1980′s, photographing birds seemed to be a natural progression and my keen interest in birds means that I’ve always put a great deal of emphasis on field craft rather than equipment. For me, good technique and a genuine love of the subject always yields better images, so I try to photograph only subjects I feel enthusiastic about. The commercial aspect of my photography was given a boost when in 1998 my image of a Red Grouse won a category of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. The publicity that followed enabled me to become better established in the market and now my images are widely published here in the UK and internationally.
Please feel free to contact me about my images or just browse and enjoy the photographs. Thanks for visiting.
